Akastor aims to develop and refine its portfolio businesses as stand-alone enterprises, with the goal of maximizing the value potential of each entity.

The company works to clarify the business models of its portfolio companies, capitalize on their market positions and promote underdeveloped areas such as aftersales services for the equipment and systems delivered.

The investment strategy is focused on the oilfield services sector and the current portfolio. Akastor has an opportunistic approach and will hold portfolio companies as long as it creates more value than alternative owners.

Akastor has a range of strategic, operational and financial value-creating measures at its disposal, including operational improvements and organic growth, acquisitions and divestments and financial measures.
